Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of PH Dental, a dental clinic directory and appointment booking platform operated by JIO Software Development Service ("PH Dental", "we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to these Terms.

1. What PH Dental is (and is not)

PH Dental is a directory and booking facilitation service. We list dental clinics in the Philippines, help you compare them, and pass your booking requests to the clinic of your choice.

  • We are not a dental care provider and do not give dental or medical advice. Nothing on this site is a substitute for professional consultation, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • Dental services are rendered solely by the clinics and their dentists, who are independent of PH Dental. Any contract for treatment is between you and the clinic.
  • Clinic information (services, prices, hours, HMO coverage) is provided by the clinics themselves. While we encourage accuracy, we cannot guarantee it — confirm important details with the clinic directly.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or book on behalf of yourself or others. A parent or legal guardian must book for minors.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it updated.

3. Bookings and cancellations

  • A booking made through PH Dental is a request until the clinic confirms it. Clinics may accept, reschedule, or decline requests.
  • Please attend confirmed appointments or cancel with reasonable notice. Repeated no-shows may result in restrictions on your use of the service.
  • Fees for dental services are set and collected by the clinic. PH Dental does not charge patients for bookings and does not process treatment payments.

4. Reviews and user content

  • Reviews must reflect your genuine experience with the clinic. Fake, paid-for, or defamatory reviews are prohibited.
  • Do not post content that is unlawful, obscene, harassing, or that infringes another person's rights, including their privacy. Do not upload photos of other people without their consent.
  • By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the platform. You retain ownership of your content.
  • We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law, including the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 (RA 10175) provisions on online libel.

5. Clinic listings

  • Clinic operators warrant that they are authorized to represent the clinic, that listed dentists are licensed by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), and that all listing information is accurate.
  • Paid clinic subscriptions are governed by the plan terms presented at purchase. We may suspend or downgrade listings for non-payment.
  • We may edit, suspend, or remove listings that are inaccurate, misleading, or violate these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any Philippine law or regulation.
  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download clinic or user data.
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the platform, or attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.
  • Impersonate any person, clinic, or PH Dental staff.

7. Intellectual property

The PH Dental name, site design, and software are owned by the Operator and protected under the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines (RA 8293). Clinic names, logos, and content belong to their respective owners. You may not reproduce or exploit any part of the platform without our written permission, except for normal personal use of the site.

8. Privacy

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

  • The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, PH Dental is not liable for the acts, omissions, or quality of care of any clinic or dentist, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under Philippine law, including your rights under the Consumer Act of the Philippines (RA 7394) and the Civil Code.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access if you breach these Terms or use the service in a way that harms other users, clinics, or the platform. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably shall be brought before the proper courts of the Philippines, without prejudice to remedies available through the Department of Trade and Industry or other competent agencies.
